This Sustainability Action Plan sets out the sustainability activities for the University of Sheffield. This plan shows the breadth and depth of our sustainability work, involving teams and departments across the University, as we work to become one of the most sustainable research-intensive universities in the country.

The Action Plan is a live tracker of the current projects being undertaken by the University, in collaboration with academics and students where required. It is updated on a regular basis and progress against its actions is reported quarterly to the University Executive Board (UEB). All of the actions in this plan have been agreed via the University's sustainability governance structure.

The Action Plan is intended to be referenced alongside our Sustainability Strategy, which provides our broad principles and direction for sustainability. Individual actions can be cross-referenced with the strategy by using the reference numbers provided.
